The next couple of days will be the last chance to help your (our) candidates – and their campaigns are very active and all could use additional volunteers.  There are literature drops and phone banks planned, both designed to remind voters of the election so they vote on TUE.  These elections have low voter turnouts, so getting a few more votes to the polls can really make the difference.  Please find some time to help one (or more) of the candidates between now and election day.

The School Board Candidates are:
Rita Rakestraw – http://www.ritaforboard.com/ – running in District 1
Karen Simon -  http://www.karendsimon.com/ -  running in District 7
Lois Nixon -  http://loisnixon.com/ -  running in District 9
See http://www.wakedems.org/ for the complete list of candidates on the ballot next TUE.

The Wake Dems are running phone banks now through Election Day, including all day on Election day, and if you can find some time, please consider helping out -  Wake Dems Phone Banks
